We are looking for a Middle/Senior 3D Artist to join our client's team on a subcontract basis.
About the client
We are looking for a combination of both: experience with Arch-Viz and Real-Time applications, but with real-time being the most important skill. This means that we can teach someone with no arch-viz experience, but we can’t teach someone with no real-time optimization experience. We are willing to train and teach the newcomers our workflows and techniques, but at the moment we are in search of people who already have solid experience to get started immediately.
Game Art Workflow knowledge: (We are NOT looking for offline rendering artists who use V-Ray, Octane, Redshift and etc. If they have this type of experience, it would be a plus, but not the main experience we need. We want people who know how to work within a game engine (Unreal Engine), and who can optimize meshes for it.)
Experience with workflow for game development.
Lightmaps set up for light bakes
Modularization and instancing meshes.
Softwares for modeling must be either 3DS Max, Maya, or Blender. (No Revit, Sketchup, or Rhino as most arch-viz people usually do). Familiarity with those softwares is a plus, but they should not be modeling in them. Only using them to export and convert meshes in and out of those softwares.
Knowledge and understanding of architectural drawings are very nice to have. Not 100% necessary, but definitely important.
Upper-Intermediate English level
The full-time workload on a remote basis
Start date - ASAP
Duration - 6 months + extension to long-term
Prior to starting at the position, we do an art test with the candidate. It is part of our process. If the person passes the art test, we move on to the interview phase.
